We went to Dunluce Guide House for our annual weekend away.
It took place during the summer break from 14th-16th July 2007.

... the Dunluce Centre & Portrush as well as travelling on the Bushmills & Giant's Causeway Railway.
Here is a picture of the house. It is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty on Northern Ireland's scenic North Antrim coast, between Bushmills & Portrush, close to the historic Dunluce Castle.

It has ... a modern kitchen with fridge/freezer, electric cooker, microwave, toasters and kettle. All crockery, cutlery, utensils and cooking accessories are provided. |

... sleeping accomodation for up to 30 people on the ground & first floors.
- A large dormitory for 18 people
- 4 twin rooms
- 1 room for four people
One twin room has been adapted for disabled use and has an adjoining bathroom. |

... a large room which doubles as an activity room and dining area. There is a hatch through to the kitchen for ease of serving. The room also has four easy chairs for leaders. |

... two newly refurbished bathrooms, one suitable for disabled people, with a total of three showers on the ground floor. There is a new bathroom upstairs with shower and toilets. |

... extensive grounds that are ideal for outdoor games and barbeques. A sheltered patio to the side of the house can be used as an outside eating area or for activities. A large 1/2 barrel barbeque is provided. |

| How To Get There ... |

Directions : From Belfast ... Take the M2 North, then A27, following signs for Ballymena, (Ballymoney) and Coleraine. At Ballymoney turn right at the 2nd roundabout signed Portrush and Giant’s Causeway. Follow this road to the T junction at the end, approx 10 miles. Turn right onto the A2 coast road towards Bushmills. Take the first turning right into Ballytober Road, approx. 11/2 miles. Dunluce House is the first house on the left ((71-73 Ballytober Road, Bushmills, BT57 8UU).
